SBHS is extremely excited about turning 50 years old!   In honor of our 50th Birthday we are planning a special celebration to take place in June 2012.  

We are welcoming back 50 years of SBHS alumni, faculty, staff, administrators as well as SB  community members and friends of SB.

                                                                           Tickets are $75/per person, this covers Friday and Saturday night events.
                                                                            You must purchase a ticket to attend either or both events. 
         
Schedule of events. 
             Friday, June 22nd  4-7:00pm - Open House at South Burlington High School
                           * Guided tours of SBHS by current SBHS students.
                           * Connect with old friends and faculty.
                           * Light snacks served.  

             Saturday, June 23rd 
                          
                           9am-3pm - The SB Alumni Office has reserved space at local parks so that individual classes
                                             can get together on their own.  
 
                           10am - Golf Tournament - See below for further information and registration materials.
                                                                                      
                           6-11pm -  Celebration at the Sheraton in South Burlington
                                            * Buffet Dinner
                                            * Dancing, music by local DJ 
                                            * Cash Bar throughout the evening
                                            * Decade seating
                                            * Film presentation showcasing the last 50 years of South Burlington High School 

   Ticket Information:    
               * Tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. 
               * Tickets will be sold on a first come-first serve basis. 
               * Tickets are avaiable for purchase until June 15, 2012.
               * You must register on the Ticket Order form above and mail your check to secure your spot. 
               * We will be posting a list of attendees on this webpage(Attendees to date) so please check to make sure your                              your name is on the list, if it is not please call our office at  802.652.7548. We will not be mailing out physical tickets.
               * Tickets will cover your entrance to the Open House and the Saturday Night Dinner event.
               * Former and Current faculty,staff and administrators may attend the Open House free of charge. 
                 All others must have a ticket with the exception of children who may attend the Open House free of charge as long
                 as they are accompanied by a parent who has purchased a ticket.   
               * Everyone must purchase a ticket to attend the Saturday night event, attendees must be at least 14 years old.

                           The Class of 1962 attended SBHS for their senior year and most attended Burlington High School before

GOLF TOURNAMENT- Buley Memorial Tournament 
     The Buley family is holding a golf tournament in honor of Jim Buley '76.  Jim graduated from SBHS in 1976 and went on to  become a well respected teacher.  The family has set up a scholarship in his memory, which is awarded annually at the SBHS graduation ceremony, proceeds from the golf tournament support this scholarship.  The Buley family has graciously invited all SB alumni, staff, community members etc. to participate in this years tournament which is conveniently being held during our 50th Celebration weekend.   Click here to find more information on the tournament as well as registration forms.

      We are looking for historical information, funny stories, rememberances of facutly and staff that made a difference in your life.  Depending on how many responses we receive we may make a publication for hand out at the event in June. Email your

JAZZ BAND REUNION
     Mr. David Grippo,  Director of the SBHS Jazz Band, would like to gather as many Jazz Band alumni to this special event and  perform either Friday or Saturday evening.   Please email alumdev@sbschools.net if you are interested in joining this group and playing with jazz performers from various decades.
