Sara-Thon Raises over $10,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The Sara-Thon  special event was organized in honor of Sara Garvey, an SBHS senior and track champion who is battling leukemia.  The event ran under a perfect May Saturday, with nary a cloud in the sky.  The goal was to raise $2,000, but South  Burlington folks came out in droves and over $10,000 has been raised, with more still coming in!  If you would like to pitch in, please donate to support the Sara-Thoners, as they make one more fundraising push at the Vermont City Marathon this coming Sunday, http://www.crowdrise.com/sara-thonors
